Scope and purpose

Workout Doctor helps you inspect workout records and, when you request it, create corrected copies on your iPhone. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Health data processed on your device

Under the Health permissions you grant, Workout Doctor may access workouts, workout activities and events, GPS routes, device and source information, distance, active and total energy, heart rate, speed, pace, power, cadence, steps, elevation-related data, environmental data attached to a workout, and other workout samples made available by HealthKit.

The app uses these data only to display a workout, let you select the portion to keep, merge compatible workouts, correct a distance, export a route, and save the corrected copy you confirm. Workout Doctor does not modify or delete the original workout. Repaired copies are saved in Apple Health and can be managed in Apple's Health and Fitness apps.

Health data are processed locally and are not uploaded to ours servers. The app contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, user account, or cloud synchronization service. Health data are not sold or used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or automated decisions.

Where data-protection law applies to this on-device processing, it is performed at your explicit request and under the Health permissions you choose to grant.

You may withdraw those permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before withdrawal.

GPX exports

A GPX file is generated locally only when you request an export. It leaves your iPhone only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. The receiving app or service then handles its copy under its own privacy policy. Export files may remain in the app's local temporary storage until iOS removes them or you remove the app.

Purchase and app data

Apple processes in-app purchases and provides the app with product and entitlement status through StoreKit. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to that processing. Workout Doctor stores the number of used free repairs and a cached entitlement status locally. The free-repair counter is stored in the iOS Keychain, contains no Health data, and may remain after the app is removed so the free limit cannot be reset by reinstalling it.

Website data

The public website is hosted by Hostinger International Limited. Hostinger may process IP addresses and technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the website. This processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. Logs are kept only for the period required for hosting and security under the provider's retention settings. They do not contain Health data from the app.

Recipients and transfers

No Health data are disclosed by Workout Doctor to the publisher, advertisers, or data brokers. Apple receives purchase-related information, and Hostinger processes website technical data as described above. These providers may use approved subprocessors and legal transfer safeguards under their own privacy terms.

Retention and control

Workout Doctor does not retain Health data on a developer-controlled server.

Health records and repaired copies remain in Apple Health until you manage or delete them there. Local app data remain until removed through iOS, subject to the Keychain behavior described above.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing of personal data controlled by the publisher. Contact support@neostudent.app. Because Health data never reach the publisher's servers, you manage those data and permissions directly in iOS and Apple Health. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr.
