Neo Student is an application published by Alix Marion.

1. General

Neo Student does not require a user account.

The data you enter in the application, such as subjects, courses, exams, revision sessions, notes, and attachments, is stored on your device and may be synchronized via iCloud when this feature is available and enabled.

Neo Student also uses TelemetryDeck to measure general app usage and improve key product flows. This usage measurement does not transmit the content of your courses, notes, documents, exams, revisions, or iCloud data.

2. Application data

Educational data created in Neo Student remains in the app library on your device and may be synchronized via iCloud when this service is enabled.

This data may include:

• academic periods

• subjects

• courses

• exams

• revision sessions

• course notes

• documents and attachments

• schedule and notification preferences

Alix Marion does not have access to the content entered in the application unless you voluntarily provide it as part of a support request.

3. Use of TelemetryDeck

Neo Student uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service provided by TelemetryDeck GmbH, to understand general app usage.

Signals sent may include:

• app launches

• selected onboarding steps

• paywall or subscription section display

• purchase or restore subscription actions

• platform

• app version and build number

• device language

• a random installation identifier

• a session identifier

• general subscription state

These signals do not include:

• the names of your subjects, periods, courses, or exams

• your course notes

• your documents or attachments

• content generated or edited in the app

• data synchronized via iCloud

• your Apple Account identifier

• payment information

This usage data is used only to understand adoption, stability, activation, and the subscription flow of Neo Student. It is not used for advertising tracking, marketing profiling, or resale.

4. Notifications

Neo Student may use macOS local notifications to remind users of scheduled courses, exams, or revision sessions.

These notifications are managed locally on the device and can be disabled at any time by the user.

5. Support

If you contact support, the information you voluntarily provide may be used solely to respond to your request, for example:

• your email address

• the content of your message

• screenshots or technical information you provide

6. Website

The Neo Student website may process minimal technical data necessary for its operation, security, and hosting.
